In 1994 Janek Murd (also known as Rubik 3001) recruits his brother Marek on drums and the member of Tartu cult industrial band Pedigree, Leslie Laasner (also known as Leslie da Bass), on bass and vocals. Their debut is a revelation. Shoegaze guitar and grunge married by a Peter Hook bassline.
1997: after three years of critical praise and relative commercial success, the house that Borax built keeps being constantly re-decorated. The guitars have lent space to ancient Eastern Bloc electric organs, more ancient Eastern Bloc vinyl records and some state-of-the-art Far Eastern computers.
